Last month, Britney Spears gave away her VMAs outfit to benefit the Louisiana flooding victims. Now she's giving back once again by hosting a cycling class to benefit a childhood cancer charity.
On October 27 at XCYCLE in Las Vegas, she'll be hosting the Britney Spears Piece of Me Charity Ride, with choreography set to songs chosen by Spears herself. Proceeds from the class will go to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation's ONE Year ONE Home Capital Campaign."
It's part of Spears' continued efforts to raise $1 million for the campaign, having already raised $450,000 from tickets, T-shirts, and special appearances during her Planet Hollywood residency in Vegas.
"Doing this charity ride with my friends at XCYCLE is a rewarding and fun way to raise money for Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, an amazing organization that supports children and their families in need," Spears said in a statement.
The NCCF website explains, "Our goal is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children and their families living in our community. When a child is diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illness ... they can look to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation for support, hope, and courage."
Reserved spots in the class will cost you $10,000 to $50,000, but there's still a chance to participate even if you don't have that kind of money. By donating at least $10 to the NCCF, you'll be entered to win a trip to Vegas with a friend to see Spears' Piece of Me show, meet her backstage, and get a VIP experience at XCYCLE.
