This Bride Crocheted Her Own Wedding Dress — On A Bus
That dress is literally made with love.
Most people spend their commute reading or listening to music, not making wedding dresses.
In a post on Reddit, user alkikat shared a photo of her wedding dress and of herself making it. But she didn't work in a shop — she crocheted her gown on a bus for 5 months during her commute. And she spent less than $30.
You probably won't see a story like alkikat's on TLC's show "Say Yes To The Dress," but she doesn't seem to want it any other way. "My commute time couldn't be used for anything else anyway," she wrote.
She explained that the dress is machine washable, doesn't wrinkle and she plans on adding colors so she can wear it again. And if you're so inspired, she included a video of the dress's progress above.
Lots of things can happen on public transportation, but this takes the (wedding) cake.
