On Tuesday night's finale of "America's Got Talent," singer Brian Justin Crum gave us another powerful cover of a classic song.
Throughout the season, we've seen him put his own emotional spin on hits like Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Radiohead's "Creep." This week, for his final performance on the show, Brian chose to sing Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror."
Before the performance, Brian received a surprise video message from several fans who have been inspired by his talent and his story of being bullied growing up. "I never thought when I started this journey that my story would have such an effect on so many people," he admitted.
One fan shared that she was bullied so badly she had to switch schools. Another said he dealt with self-harm and an eating disorder.
"You make me believe and have hope that everything will work out in the end," said one young woman.
The video brought Brian to tears and provided the perfect introduction to his latest incredible live performance. "If you wanna make the world a better place," he sang, "take a look at yourself, and then make that change."
As the song became more dramatic, Brian rose up from the stage on a huge platform. His powerhouse performance was described by judge Howie Mandel as "epic," and we couldn't agree more.
