Stormtroopers Present Boy With A New 3D-Printed Arm

He just became the coolest kid in school.

When Liam Porter needed a hand, John Peterson gave him an arm.

Porter, a 7-year-old Georgia native born without part of his left arm, needed a new prosthetic appendage as his old one was awkward and unwieldy.

Peterson, along with an online community of people who create prosthetics for those in need, fired up his 3D printer and delivered a super cool-looking arm to attach to Porter's elbow.

The black and white prosthetic arm was presented to Porter by the 501st Legion, a group of Star Wars fans who dress up in Stormtrooper costumes and do good deeds.

Porter was even able to pick up a cup of water and utensils for the first time.

But the coolest part is that the arm will adjust to fit Porter as he grows.
