Bindi Irwin has continued her father Steve Irwin's legacy with her animal work at the Australia Zoo and in research trips. On the 10th anniversary of her dad's death, Irwin shared a touching tribute on social media for the late "Crocodile Hunter."
Irwin uploaded a photo to Instagram from when she was a baby. In the shot, her father is holding her in one arm and they are both looking at the camera. Irwin wrote a few lines about the love and inspiration her dad gave her.
"You'll be my hero for my entire existence. I love you more than words can describe."
Irwin lost her father when she was 8, and it is clear that he is still in her thoughts every day. She has previously spoken out about his loss, and she sometimes posts old photos of him on social media. Furthermore, she danced a moving routine in his honor on "Dancing With the Stars." During the show, she said:
"No matter where I go, dad will always be with me."
Irwin shows that her dad's memory lives on through her work with animals and in her heart, and that he will always be a part of her life.
