The Mayor Of New York Wants Kanye West's Number So They Can Plan A Block Party For Charity

Someone get him those digits!

On Monday morning, Kanye West attempted to put on a surprise show at Webster Hall in New York City after Hot 97's Summer Jam.

Word quickly spread and the surprise concert quickly turned into a wild block party.

It got so big, the cops were forced to break up the crowd and the surprise concert was no more.

West tried to get in touch with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio at 2 a.m. to try to make it happen, but they weren't able to get in touch.

However, de Blasio seems resolute on helping Kanye set up his block party the right way.

He sent out a tweet on Tuesday to Kanye and Kim Kardashian, saying that — along with the help of his wife, activist Chirlane McCray, he can throw a party that benefits New York City kids.

We're all for it, as long as we get our press passes, de Blasio.
