Jean Paul Gaultier And Beth Ditto Announce Their Collab, And It's All About Celebrating 'Shapes, Boobs And Bottoms'

Wawawooom.

Beth Ditto needs no introduction.

The lead singer of the indie band Gossip is not only known for her super powerful voice, often compared to the voices of Tina Turner and Janis Joplin, but also for her extravagantly chic style on and off the stage.

This lady sure knows a thing or two about fashion, and you don't need to look very far for proof.

She's besties with fashion designer Jeremy Scott.

She also walked runways for both Marc Jacobs...

...and Jean Paul Gaultier.

But this week, she took another step towards establishing herself as a fabulous fashionista by announcing her plus-size clothing line, created in collaboration with Jean Paul Gautier.

"Jean Paul is the most generous, positive person, he truly loves women of all sizes and ages and knows how to make everyone feel gorgeous," Beth Ditto explained on her website.

While the entire plus-size collection will be rolled out this February, one item, the "Corset Tee Dress," is already available exclusively at bethditto.com and retails for $150. A portion of the proceeds will be used to support the Girls Rock Camp Foundation.

"Big girls are beautiful and Beth is super beautiful! Long live the beauty with shapes, boobs and bottoms. This is a new concept, a loose fit corset. And Beth fits it perfectly," Jean Paul Gaultier was quoted.

Tell 'em, Jean Paul.

Who says that fashion is only for one body type?
