Ben Affleck And Jimmy Fallon Enlist The Help Of Puppies To Talk 'Batman V Superman'

Give the screen time to the real heroes.

The much-hyped Batman V Superman has finally hit theaters, so naturally its stars are on a lengthy PR circuit to promote the film and get fans out to theaters. Since critics aren't too fond of it, the talk show appearances are doubly important, which is probably why Ben Affleck, a.k.a. Batman/Bruce Wayne, employed the assistance of almost offensively cute puppies to promote the film while on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

As Affleck and Fallon went head to head in a "Pup Quiz" trivia game, they were awarded a puppy for correct answers and forfeited a puppy to their opponent for wrong answers. Each one was dressed up as a different superhero from the DC universe — there was a Superman, a Batman, and a Wonder Woman, among others.

When it came to direct promotion of the film, Affleck was quick to steer away from the reviews. "Don't scare people into thinking this is a critical film," he said. "This is an audience movie. People actually like this movie."

If his words aren't enough to sway you, watch the dude interact with puppies and just fork over the money for a ticket already. The dogs seem to like it well enough. Why wouldn't you?
