This Blogger With A Facial Tumor Creates Videos About Loving Your Unique Beauty

"To me, beauty means to accept yourself for who you are."

Beauty blogging is a fantastic way to illustrate the amazing transformative power of beauty products, show how makeup can be an artistic medium for self-expression, and how it can highlight the features you already love. A quick look at some viral makeovers will show you that.

Beauty blogging isn't just about how to apply the perfect foundation or choose the right lipstick.

It can bring people together, be a tool to promote positive messages, and help expand our definitions of beauty.

Those are some of the reasons Marimar Quiroa launched her YouTube channel two years ago.

The 21-year-old aspiring makeup artist was born with cystic hygroma. The condition causes growths which can become filled with fluid, according to Medline Plus Medical Encyclopedia. Quiroa has had many surgeries to reduce the size of her facial tumors, but still has to use a tube to breathe and must communicate via sign language.

But this doesn't stop her from shining, inside and out.

Quiroa started posting videos on YouTube to help others love their individual beauty.

In a video interview for Barcroft TV, Quiroa discussed pursuing her goals and broadening the scope of beauty, "To me, beauty means to accept yourself for who you are. It doesn't matter if you have a different-looking face."

Her channel has grown successfully, with over 111,000 subscribers and 6 million views. And in addition to keeping up her vlog, Quiroa is going to school to learn makeup, and is studying to be a teacher for deaf children, according to Refinery29.

Quiroa's videos have amassed a huge following because they don't just show how to get the perfect cat eye or a gorgeous summer beauty look, but shows beauty comes in many forms. Most importantly, you should just be celebrating your own individual kind.
