Basketball Player Fakes Handshake, Dunks On Opponent For Seemingly No Reason

Harmless antics or bad sportsmanship?

It seemed unneccesary.

That's about all you could say of Alec Wintering's steal on Wednesday night. The Portland State guard pulled it off with two seconds left, against their rival Portland, but it had little meaning in the game.

It did however, effect the outcome for a few gamblers. From Yahoo

Portland was a 12.5-point favorite to beat its city rival. As a result of White's duplicity, the Pilots won by 12 instead of 14.

Any athlete has been in a position where they were losing. Few have always acted gracefully. Aside from the gamblers who may have lost a few bucks, it's hard to really be mad at Wintering. He took a little frustration out in a way that didn't hurt anyone. We've all been there, right?
