Cheer Up By Watching A Newborn Elephant Discovering Birds For The First Time

Finally, something good.

In the wake of last week's events involving the American dentist who shot and killed Zimbabwe's famous lion, Cecil, we could all use a little cheer. 

And something to help brighten our day is a little newborn elephant near Berg en Dal in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. 

The calf was spotted chasing some swallows, and its pure excitement is enough to make anyone smile. See for yourself...

The calf looks like it's just discovering the world, and it's heartwarming to know that while we've lost one majestic animal in Africa, another is born.
