Jeffrey Goldberg, a national correspondent for The Atlantic, thinks that asking a person's age is like saying, "I'm curious to figure out exactly when you're going to die."

Many will insist that age "is just a number." But these two men are approaching it from different angles — and experiencing it from opposing perspectives.   

Dr. James Hamblin hosts a video series for The Atlantic entitled "If Our Bodies Could Talk," but has been subjected to a bit of age discrimination from viewers and readers.  One YouTube viewer commented asking, "Was that kid a doctor or a member of One Direction?"
