Fans Thought They Were Looking At A Wax Statue, Then Arnold Schwarzenegger Moved

It's good to be the Governator.

The Terminator is a pretty funny guy, as he proved this week with a hilarious practical joke he played on his fans in Los Angeles. While promoting his latest Terminator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger pranked Madame Tussauds visitors by pretending to be a wax statue. The famous wax museum is home to more than 125 lifelike sculptures of famous celebrities, including everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Jennifer Lopez and, of course, there's a statue of Schwarzenegger as his most famous character, The Terminator. Fans took pictures and even posed with the "statue" before the actor "came to life" right in front of them. As you can see, he scared quite a few people — though their fear quickly turned to excitement when they realized who they had been pranked by. Afterward, they all took selfies together, like you do.

The stunt was all in good fun. Schwarzenegger pranked people at Madame Tussauds to promote his Omaze campaign, which is raising money for the charity After-School All-Stars. ASAS "provides comprehensive out-of-school time programs to 72,053 participants at 326 schools," according to its website. If you donate to the campaign, you'll also be entered into a raffle for the chance to attend the premiere of Terminator: Genesis with Schwarzenegger and accompany him to the star-studded after-party. Hanging with Arnold and supporting a good cause? We're definitely in.
