Comedian Amy Schumer is well-known for being good with words. And just yesterday, the 34-year-old star did not disappoint with a tweet aimed at 17-year-old film critic Jackson Murphy. Murphy had made a sexist joke about Schumer on his Twitter.
"Spent the night with Amy Schumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that,” Murphy tweeted when attending Critics' Choice awards.
Not cool, right?
While the tweet has since been deleted, it didn't go unnoticed by Schumer. Instead of getting furious about the rude joke, however, she calmly shut down the teen with just a few words.
It surely was a pretty jerk move from Murphy to make a sexist comment like that, but we do have to give him extra credit for handling the situation in a very mature fashion. He quickly responded to Schumer by apologizing for his offensive words.
Peace and love, guys, and remember to choose your words wisely.
