Kids are notoriously picky eaters and they're not afraid to say exactly what's on their mind, which is why we enjoy watching them try different things for the first time so much. In the past, we've laughed, smiled, and nodded in agreement at their reactions to eating "100 Years of Sandwiches" and trying candy from around the world.
Most recently, though, we watched as Cut Video gave a bunch of kids the opportunity to try a few courses of French cuisine. They started off by pouring hot chocolate into their cereal. You'd think that children would be delighted by the opportunity to have more hot chocolate, but these kids didn't think it belonged in a bowl with their cereal.
They soon started to miss their hot chocolate cereal as soon as they made eye contact with a plate of mussels and raw beef.
Luckily, they had some familiar fries to munch on.
Their best reactions came later, though, when they find out that the spread on their bread is duck liver pâté, the meat that tastes like "chicken and fish" is frog legs, and dessert in France means a plate of moldy cheese.
"I'm never going to Paris," one kid declares.
