The American Heart Association is making saving lives easy.
This week, the organization released a new how-to video that teaches hands-only CPR. In order to make it as simple as possible, they showed that saving the life of someone who's just collapsed from cardiac arrests can require only two steps:
1) Call 911.
2) Push hard and fast at the center of the chest to the beat of "Staying Alive."
If it sounds easy, that's because it is. The cleverly chosen song is both a pun and a good guide to the rhythm of giving CPR that works.
Check it out in the short one-minute video below and be prepared to save a life the next time someone is in need.
