When you live in a big city, there's only so much space you can spare for luxuries such as a walk-in closet, personal library, heck, sometimes even a washer and dryer don't fit. Needless to say, a swimming pool is off limits.
But not necessarily and you're about to see why.
Israel-based engineering company AGOR offers creative solutions for people who want to enjoy life's pleasures, but have limited space to do so. And by saying creative we don't mean something over-the-top fancy. No, we mean solutions that are dynamic, functional, aesthetically appealing and unique.
In fact, we're pretty sure you'll be surprised by what you see next ...
Looks like a regular wooden deck, right?
A huge-*ss swimming pool would be a better guess.
Using next-generation moveable floor technology, AGOR can easily convert any space into a swimming pool at the push of a button.
If you think that's something, wait 'til you see its other creations ...
According to the company founder Yoash Zolar, these moveable floors cover three areas: appearance, safety and effective use of space.
From the architectural perspective, AGOR's sliding system give the surroundings a much more dynamic touch.
It also provides more safety, especially if kids are present, because the pool depth can be adjusted based on the child's height and ability to swim.
Once up, the cover can be locked and the water is then completely inaccessible.
'The strength of the moveable floor is that of a concrete floor, so a dance party can easily take place on the pool,' Zolar told A Plus.
Since all of the solutions are custom-made, Zolar says the company can make any architect's dream into reality: from automatic stairs and benches to a combination of a pool, spa and hot tub, etc.
Pretty neat, isn't it?
