Experts say getting married when you're 25 years old or older is ideal to make your marriage last. But at what ages are Americans actually getting hitched?
The Knot, an all things weddings website, did a study to find the biggest bride and groom age differences in the U.S. by region. As their chart below illustrates, the frequency of early onset wedding fever ranges across the country. A few of the midwestern states are all about commitment early on, while the urban areas tend to hold off on saying their "I Dos."
But no matter where you fall on the wedding vs. age spectrum, there's a lot more to making a marriage work than just age. But maybe moving to Manhattan or Utah if you want to slow or speed up the process wouldn't be a bad idea.
