Adele Stops Mid-Performance, Invites Fans Onstage After Spotting Their Heartwarming Act

Adele's gonna Adele.

Seeing your loved one get down on one knee while your favorite singer gently warbles a lyrical love song in the background already sounds like a scene from a soap opera.

But if that singer just so happens to be Adele, get ready for some extra fairy godmother shiznick!

In her recent shows, Adele proved she's not shy of interacting with fans who come to listen to her performances. In Belfast, she played the ultimate matchmaker and facilitated a marriage proposal, and in Manchester, Adele performed "Someone Like You" with a girl who has autism.

With a track record like that, it was only fair for Adele to do what she did at a concert in London.

Mid-performance of "Make You Feel My Love," Adele stopped, pointed to the audience and said: "Come up here, you two."

As the fans were making their way onstage, Adele revealed what was happening: "Did you just get engaged?" she exclaimed. "Did you?!"

"I thought there was a fight at first. I saw all of the camera-phone lights at first, and then I saw arms went up and I saw sweet kissing," Adele explained how she spotted the couple's loving act.

When the newly engaged couple finally appeared onstage, Adele encouraged them both to shake off the shyness and gave them a big, heartfelt hug.
