Mashup Of Adele And Mozart Will Make You Fall In Love With Classical Music

They called it "Chello."

There have been many great collaborations in music history, from Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson's '80s duets, to Daft Punk and Pharrell's panty-dropping masterpieces of 21st century.

But this collab might easily top all of them.

Thanks to the American musical group The Piano Guys, our ears can now witness an unexpected musical collaboration between two geniuses from very different epochs.

Their latest video features a mashup of Adele's recent hit "Hello" and Mozart's "Lacrimosa" composed back in 1791. Aptly dubbed "Chello," the mashup was created by using "a hundred tracks of acoustic and electric cello."

"Imagine Mozart and Adele in the same room in an intense co-write session, quill and pen in hand, respectively. Picturing this hypothetical hangout helped to spark the creative combination of the two," The Piano Guys write in their blog.

Picturing such a wild thing might be easier if you have their track playing in the background. So amp up that volume and check out that magical Adele-Mozart below!
