After Six Months Of Pain And Needles, Adam Levine's Epic Back Tattoo Is Finally Complete

Inked out, brah.

Not only is Adam Levine a man of many hit records, he is also a man of many tattoos.

However, his newest ink might be his best yet.

The tattoo, designed by Bryan Randolph of Spider Murphy's Tattoo in San Rafael, Calif., started out as a mermaid.

After six months of pain and needles, the tattoo blossomed into this masterful piece of artwork.

The mermaid all of a sudden sprouted wings and was surrounded by a couple of birds, too.

It now sits inside a beautiful frame with a sun slowly breaking above the waves.

Perhaps only Levine knows its true meaning, but feel free to come to your own interpretations.

Either way, very impressive.
