Beautiful Flash Mob Blending Yoga And Acrobatics Wows Tel Aviv Crowd After Attack

150 participated in the perfectly choreographed event.

A crowded city square in Tel Aviv became the site of a beautifully choreographed flash mob of 150 participants that combined elements of yoga, choreography, and acrobatics to stun a crowd of hundreds of passersby on a sunny afternoon in early March.

According to the Jewish Business News, the Acro Yoga event took place at Habima Square just three days after a knife-wielding terrorist killed an American tourist and wounded nine others on the Tel Aviv boardwalk.

The Jewish Standard reports that the flash mob — dubbed Acro Flash Mob TLV 2016 on Facebook — was organized and choreographed by Israeli Acro Yogi Ofir Gothilf.

Video of the event was later posted to Acro Yoga's YouTube channel.

It starts with a man lying on the ground, who is shortly joined by a woman ...

As the couple begin their balancing act, a crowd begins to gather.

From the crowd emerges other pairs who join the synchronized blend of acrobatics and yoga.

An Acro Yoga behind-the-scenes video produced and directed by Talia Naggar captured some of the long hours spent in practice and preparation for the event.

The result was a flawlessly executed public performance showing strength, form, and grace ...

Much to the delight of all who were fortunate enough to see it.
