Surfers Come Face To Face With One Of The World's Deadliest Waves And It's Absolutely Mental

So damn terrifying.

This is "The Right," one of the world's most dangerous waves.

Located on the coast of Western Australia, "The Right" is the heaviest wave in Oceania. Judging by the video below, it's also one of the most impressive ones.

To say that it's dangerous to surf this wave is a colossal understatement.

"The last time I surfed this wave I thought I was gone," confesses Ryan Hipwood, a 29 year old professional free-surfer, in the video below. "It almost took my life."

Whoa. This gives us chills. Every. Single. Time.

A few years after the initial (and almost deadly) encounter, Hipwood is back to catch the same wave, this time accompanied by fellow surfers Bradley Norris, Mark Matthews and Dean Morrison.

"I knew I had to face it again. I wanted to face it again," Hipwood explains.

Watch the entire video below. This is man versus nature at its finest.
