This election season has been nothing short of shocking. Some other words that come to mind are raucous, complicated, and absurd. Regardless of who you plan on voting for next month, you probably have some strong opinions on all of it. But, have you ever wondered what President Barack Obama might be truly thinking about the nominees? 

The weekly public radio show This American Life has. It asked singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, who recently wrote the music and lyrics for Broadway's Waitress, to imagine what President Obama "might be thinking about the current election and Donald Trump, but can't say publicly." She wrote a song titled "Seriously" from his point of view. The radio show then enlisted Leslie Odom Jr., who's best known for his Tony-winning run in Broadway's Hamilton, to perform the song.
