Watch Josh Gad Sing ‘Frozen’ Songs During James Corden’s Monologue

“Can I help you host the show, man?”

Josh Gad’s star is currently rising like crazy.

Though he's probably best known for his role as the adorable snowman Olaf in Disney's Frozen, he also starred on Broadway as Elder Cunningham in the original cast of The Book of Mormon and will be starring opposite Billy Crystal in The Comedians, premiering April 9th on FX. However, it appears that there's one more role Gad is interested in: Late night talk show host.

When appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday night, Gad didn't follow directions by waiting for the show to start from his dressing room. Instead, he decided to seat himself in the audience to soak up the full experience first-hand.

That's when he decided to make his move and ask Corden if he could help host the show through the power of song. Channeling his inner Olaf, Gad makes his case using tunes of songs from Frozen including "In Summer," "Fixer Upper," and "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?". Corden reluctantly agrees, and they sing the rest of the monologue to "For The First Time In Forever."

James Corden is no slouch at singing, either. A veteran of the theatre, he recently starred as The Baker in Disney's movie adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods.
