Watch The Most Extreme Roller Coaster In The World In Action

If you love roller coasters, your world is about to be rocked.

The Fury 325 is the exciting (and terrifying) new centerpiece of Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte, NC.

At 325 feet tall, it's the world's tallest coaster. That's 30 stories high. Yikes!

Yes it's tall, but real coaster enthusiasts are all about the drop. How steep is this one? A whopping 320 feet.

It's also the world's fastest, with speeds reaching a hair-blowing 95 miles-per-hour.

The Fury 325 is classed as a "giga coaster" which is defined as a height or drop that ranges from 300 feet (91 m) to 399 feet (122 m). There are only handful of giga coasters in the world.

The one-of-a-kind ride is designed to simulate the furious flight of the hornet.

According to the Carowinds website: "Like an angry hornet chasing its target, Fury 325 will race through a series of hills, curves and quick transitions."

Thrill seekers will climb into one of three open air trains for three-and-a-half minutes of fun or freak out along the 6,602 feet of track.
