Don Pardo, The Voice Of 'Saturday Night Live,' Dies At 96
He was SNL's announcer for 38 of 39 seasons.
Don Pardo, who introduced hundreds of hosts and guests on Saturday Night Live died on Monday, August 17th, in Tucson, Arizona.
Of SNL's 39 seasons, he missed only the 7th. He continued to do voice work for the show even after moving to Arizona.
Here he is in a recent interview talking about one of his early experiences at SNL.
He is survived by three daughters, two sons, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
His voice will never be forgotten.
