4-Year-Old Girl Sings 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It' To Cancer-Fighting Mom

This one hit us so hard.

A video featured on The Ellen Show's Facebook page and website has gone viral after showing a touchingly bittersweet moment between a 4-year-old little girl named McKenna singing to her mother, Dianne, who has been fighting Stage 4S Hodgkin's lymphoma since 2013.

The song she's chosen is painfully appropriate: Martina McBride's "I'm Gonna Love You Through It."

A woman on Facebook claiming to be the mother and grandmother of the two says that McKenna sings to her mother every day.

Dee Silvernail's comment, posted to the video featured on Ellen's page says, in part:

"I am the Mother and Grandmother of these precious girls. I have not seen a smile on my Daughters face in almost two years . She was Diagnosed with Stage 4s Hodgkin Lymphoma 'specialty' a very rare form on Christmas Eve 2013. McKenna sings this song to her Mommy EVERYDAY! She is the main reason she fights to live and beat this battle. Thank you for sharing her video, she finds comfort in the support from all who have left loving messages. God Bless you all ."

We were unable to confirm whether or not Silvernail is related to the family.

I love this so much… a 4-year-old girl singing to inspire her mother who's fighting cancer.
