Which one would you get?

From minimalistic tattoos to Harry Potter-themed ones, there are countless styles people can rock to express themselves.

Now, in a recent video for Allure magazine, the publication looks back at 100 years of tattoos, including everything from permanent eyebrow tattoos made popular in the '30s, to the Japanese-inspired nature tattoos trending in the '60s.

The video even provides some historical context and inspiration behind each style, including the fact that "women supported servicemen with temporary, military-themed tattoos created by wearing a sticker while tanning" in the '40s.

And in the '80s, people were more open to showing off their tattoos, showcasing them in visible places like their outer arms.
