#WhatWomenWantIn4Words Sparks An Online Discussion Everyone Should Read

Women tell the Internet what they want, and spark a meaningful conversation.

On June 16, #WhatWomenWantIn4Words began trending on Twitter, and although many of the tweets detailing women's desires were funny, clever, and lighthearted, thousands of them illustrated how women are often still marginalized by society in a myriad of ways.

While women's list of wants are understandably and rightfully extensive, a few themes quickly began to emerge. Easy and affordable access to health care was a popular wish for women on Twitter, as was wage parity with men. In a similar vein, many women also took aim at various politicians attempting to curtail women's rights to their own bodies.
